Shiner Roofing, Siding & Windows is looking for an experienced sales manager to join our team.

We are a specialty remodeler, highly respected in the industry (BBB A+ rating & Angies List A rated) with over 35 years of local experience. We have built an excellent reputation among area homeowners for providing premium products that offer lifetime warranties, installed by our expert certified installation team that fit every budget.

You will be managing a team of 6-10 sales reps, as they apply a proven selling system designed around customer satisfaction selling allowing them to earn high level compensation.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales team. You will coach and mentor our salespeople to develop a team that consistently meets revenue targets and protects and builds our company’s exceptional record of client satisfaction. Your leadership style includes empathy and nurturing, as well as holding your people accountable for activities and results.

You have at least 3 years experience managing in-house sales teams, and your results will showcase your ability to develop a positive and productive sales culture. You have personally made in-home sales presentations for a minimum of 2-3 years.

You are dedicated to providing client satisfaction through your team members, as well as being a direct representative to the public when required. We need you to build a self-sufficient team of salespeople. You see your management role as a coach and facilitator.

You are well organized, results driven, adaptable, and open to change. You have a strong working proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. You have proficiency using a range of online systems (specific training will be provided). You maintain a professional appearance, and are well spoken in front of the wide range of the public in Northern Virginia.

Job Responsibilities

Managing day to day operations of a sales force of 6-10 highly-qualitied sales reps.

Continual recruiting of new salespeople, and hiring and training new sales hires

Track, analyze, and report sales metrics to upper management weekly using standardized reporting methods.

Continually develop salespeople via ongoing training, professional management practices, and a coach’s empathy.

Follow our established system for follow-up marketing to ensure we continue to meet established close ratios

Participate in outreach programs to promote the Company in local community events

Compensation:

Total comp $100-$110K salary+bonus, $75K base

Paid time off + paid holidays

Vehicle allowance or company car provided

Monthly contribution toward benefit package (health, dental, and supplemental insurances).

Northern Virginia industry leader in the Exterior Remodeling field. Specializing in replacement and installation of Roofing, Gutters, Siding, Windows & Doors, Deck restorations and maintenance of these systems. Projects range from $250 - $100,000. Our client satisfaction is paramount and only those that understand this can be considered for this position.

Qualifications:

  • Managing in-home sales teams: 3 years
  • In-home Sales Experience: 2-3 years
  • Ability to run day, evening & Saturday appointments
  • Ability to use a ladder & access roofs (we will train)
  • Possess basic computer skills – MS Office
  • Good driving record required
